Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
If you have been diagnosed with having high blood pressure, you may qualify to participate in clinical trials evaluating the effects of investigational medications.
You May Qualify If you are:
- Are 18 years or older
- Have a history of heart or blood vessel disease, such as:
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Blocked or narrowed arteries
- Prior stent or bypass surgery
- Are considered at risk for heart disease, including:
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes
- Smoking history
- Kidney disease
- Irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation)
- Are currently taking medication for high blood pressure
Qualified Participants May:
- Have access to investigational medications and/or treatments
- Receive care from medical staff and study doctors
- Receive compensation for study-related time and travel
